Trust The Promise

images

Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure, feasting on his faithfulness. Psalm 37:3 TPT

The space between vision and provision varies, but the Provider never forgets the vision or the visionary. It’s what got His attention in the first place. God love big dreamers and big trusters so dream bigger than you’ve ever dreamed and God will move heaven and earth to answer.

Please don’t expect the journey to be void of roadblocks, disappointments or discouragement. You’ll have many, but take the roadblocks and develop your climbing skills. For every disappointment, just use them as opportunities to declare the Word of God over those situations and watch God do his thing.

You’ve heard it said, delay is not denial. Remind your spirit of the words David penned above, “I will keep trusting in the Lord. I will keep my eyes fixed on the promises of God and I will be secure, feasting on His faithfulness.” Follow His instructions and remember what Moses told the people, “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.”

Prayer is the key to an open heaven. Praying the Word is praying God into every situation. Jn 1:1 says that God and His Word are synonymous with each other. No wonder it gets Gods attention! Find your promise, speak it out, stand firm and see what God will do.

God’s Math

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:3

I began thinking of all the miracles we’ve seen or read about, which is the greatest and this one came to mind. The bible says that gross darkness covered the earth, so can you imagine the thick darkness we’d be living in if God had never said those words?

I was also thinking of all the miracles Jesus did, not one time did he say what he saw. “Oh look, it’s a dead man!” or, “Oh look, it’s a leper!” No, he spoke the end result not the current event. He saw them how the Father saw them and spoke it into existence just as His Father did at the beginning.

God is unimpressed with puny faithless prayers, but He will move heaven and earth to answer desperate faith filled prayers. Those who dare to speak as He showed us to, will have the results Jesus did while He was on the earth. I would rather look a fool and be ridiculed and have what I say, than to cower in fear and play it safe and have nothing at all.

He’s the God of Red Sea miracles. He has all the resources needed to provide but wants you to invest yours so He can show you what multiplication really looks like. When you’re willing to risk it all, throw caution to the wind and really trust God with what you have, your outcome will be so much greater that you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

When God whispers billions and all you have is 5’s and 10’s, begin seeing what you have in the hands of God. Watch him transform your little and make it much. Nothing is too difficult with God. Your outcome is not based on your income, it’s based on your giving. Trust God!

Often Offended

images

A wise person demonstrates patience, for mercy means holding your tongue. When you are insulted, be quick to forgive and forget it, for you are virtuous when you overlook an offense. Proverbs 19:11 TPT

Do you ever find yourself easily offended by things said? It’s not easy to forget an incident or an angry moment, is it? I believe that as soon as it occurs, Satan twists it, magnifies it, gets his amplifier out to replay it loudly in your head until you become so worked up, it consumes you.

A fence was designed to keep things we love in while keeping animals and predators out. When we keep offenses in, we keep healing out and our love, hope and trust is severely affected.

Sometimes it’s simply a matter of changing out the way you see things and looking at it in a different perspective. Don’t fence yourself off from seeing things differently than you’ve always seen. Give your anger, hurt and offense over to Jesus who carried it all for you so you wouldn’t have to. Crawl into His arms and let the healing begin. You can’t fix what others have done, but God can and will if you let Him.

To keep it from happening again, listen to the wise and discerning voices God has placed in your life. They have perspective that your emotions won’t allow you to see. Anytime emotions are high, logic and reason stay hidden from you, so try to find a way to calm down and release it so it doesn’t fester and hurt you.

Last but not least, stay close to the herd. Only those who wander away from their protection are subject to attack. Satan will always go after the weakest and offense weakens you. Stay close to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

Pray for those who have hurt you and when you do, healing will come to you.

You Absolutely Matter

Unknown-1

Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] Hebrews 13:5 AMPC

This is one of my favorite translations of this verse because it just keeps repeating, I will not! I think what God is saying to you this morning is that regardless of what things look like, feel like or how bad it gets, He is holding tightly to you, so tight that there is no way you will ever escape his grasp.

What a beautiful promise. That’s something you can speak over your situation, over your body, your children, your finances; “God will not let go! He will hold me until every promise He’s ever made to me comes to pass.”

My dear friend, keep God as your central focus. Make Him the one who matters most. Pledge your allegiance to Him. He loves you so much and wants what’s best for you. He will not in any degree, leave you without support, helpless or forsake you. EVER!

Until Tomorrow,

Take It To The Bank

images

God is not like people. He tells no lies. He is not like humans. He doesn’t change his mind. When he says something, he does it. When he makes a promise, he keeps it. Numbers 23:19 GW

As I read this verse I’m reminded of how exceptionally perfect God is. He doesn’t make mistakes. He has a plan and sticks to the plan. Nothing takes Him by surprise. When He speaks, the very sound of His voice sets off a chain reaction that causes the things He says to come to pass.

If I am in agreement with His Word and I don’t waver, I don’t listen to the report of other ‘experts’, I simply stay focused in on His Word and the fact that He is in me, I will have whatever I say. What decides that for me?  Why am I absolutely sure of that? Because when He says it, it’s done! I can take it to the bank!

What the devil does is try to make us doubt just like he did with Eve in the garden. “Did God really say that?” If she had responded as Jesus did when he was in the wilderness, we would not be dealing with him today. But instead of using her authority and agreeing with the Word of God, she submitted to the doubt and lost her authority.

Don’t give away the very authority Jesus paid a high price to win back for you. Stop believing that what you see in this natural realm is more real than what God has promised.  Let your faith clamp down like a vise on the promises of God and pull hard until what you’ve been promised manifests here in your now. When you know the truth, you will be free from the enemy’s lies.

Thank you Lord for the price you paid for my freedom. My weapons are mighty in you to pull down the strongholds of my wrong thinking and wrong speaking. It says in your Word that NOTHING is impossible with you. You’re looking for radical people that have radical faith in Your abilities, who will agree with Your Word, not their circumstances and what surrounds them in the media and the world. I’m your girl, God! You have stopped at the right house at the right time. I place myself in agreement with you. Be it unto me according to your Word.

Until Tomorrow,

The Password For Blessings

images

“Lord, how wonderful You are! You have stored up so many good things for us, like a treasure chest heaped up and spilling over with blessings—all for those who honor and worship You! Everybody knows what You can do for those who turn and hide themselves in You.” (Psalm 31:19 TPT)

“And the blessings keep coming! Then all the ends of the earth will give Him the honor He deserves and be in awe of Him!” (Psalm 67:7 TPT)

I remember a little song my mom would sing each time she received a blessing from the Lord. It went like this; “You can’t out give the Lord, no matter what you do. You’ll find that in the end, the Lords out given you. With silver and with gold, with love and service too, you can’t out give the Lord, no matter what you do.”

Each time I come before the Lord, I always want to thank Him first before I do anything else. It’s not a ‘religious’ thing, it’s a constant reminder to be thankful. In Psalm 100:4 TPT, David gives us the password, “You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name!”

Each time I’m tempted to focus on my lack, I flip to praise. When I’m feeling the pressure of all I have to take care of, I thank Him for guiding, directing and giving me peace. When the noise outside overwhelms me, I close my eyes and draw near to Him and He always reaches out and embraces me in His arms.

I hear someone say, “Sandy, that doesn’t work for me!” Well let me say this, it may not work for you, but it works for Him! Life isn’t all about you. You were created to worship and have fellowship with Him. When you make Him a priority and honor Him, He will satisfy you with long life and show you the sweetness of His salvation.

“If He keeps on blessing and blessing. If He keeps on pouring it on. If His love just keeps getting richer. If He keeps on giving a song. If my cup gets fuller and fuller. If my prayers keep on getting through. If it keeps getting better and better oh Lord, I don’t know what I’m gonna do!”

Until Tomorrow-Be thankful!

Accelerated Blessings

Unknown-1

“‘Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’ God’s Decree. ‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for My people Israel:

“‘They’ll rebuild their ruined cities.
They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine.
They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.
And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land.
They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.’
God, your God, says so.” Amos 9:13-15 Message

About 22 or so years ago, my friend Mary and I would take Wednesday nights and alternate between her house and mine, praying and interceding, declaring and proclaiming over our families, churches and leaders. I remember having a vision and seeing an overhead window and the Lord spoke to me, “I’m getting ready to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing you don’t have room to contain.”

Sixteen years ago during a time of intercessory prayer time, I saw the same window with a hand on the latch, the word I heard was, “Get ready, it’s coming!” This came at a time of tremendous personal struggle and warfare. Funny how God does that!

Again as I gathered to pray with a my friend, Judy, early one morning about 10 years ago, I saw the window bulging and I heard the Lord say, “You’d better run! The blessing that’s coming is about to bury you alive! You won’t be able to outrun this blessing, for have I not said it, and will I not hasten my Word to perform it?”

Each time I’ve heard the Lord speak this, it’s always been proceeded by times of testing either in our church or in our personal lives, but there’s been such an excitement in my spirit, an anticipation of what is to come.

Since we bought our home 1 1/2 years ago, We’ve had some stuff happen that has been crazy.  Walt became dizzy and started falling. Since February of this year, he’s been under some extreme situations with his health. He fell and broke a vertebrae, had surgery, reacted to the narcotics, was in rehab, had hammer-toe surgery to fix his toe that he was fighting infection in. During that surgery, they reported he may have congestive heart failure. Because of the Covid, doctors offices were closed or only seeing patients via teleconference calls.

Since I’m writing this early to post during his recovery time, He has had open-heart bypass surgery after 2 weeks in the hospital undergoing tests, treatment, pneumonia all while not being allowed up to see him because of them not allowing visitors. Talk about testing!

But hear me today as I repeat this: ‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for My people Israel.”

God has His foot on the accelerator! It’s coming fast and there’s nothing that can keep you from the blessings He’s pouring out on you. Stop looking at what happened and begin rejoicing that you made it through it. Stop looking at the losses and focus on the blessing.

I’m blessed because I can still see, hear, touch, taste and smell. I’m blessed to have a home, a car, a job and money in the bank. I lay my head in bed each night, grateful to be alive and whole. I’m blessed because I can be a blessing to others. To give words of encouragement that bring hope every day. I’m blessed because I chose Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Stay Focused On Jesus,

Sandy G

Our Great God

images-1

Is there anyone greater then God? Anything that compares to His power? Can any problem stand up against His ability? After witnessing the parting of the Red Sea and the destruction of Pharaohs armies, Moses and the people sang this from Exodus 15:

“The Lord is my strength and song. He is the One Who saves me. He is my God and I will praise Him. He is my father’s God and I will honor Him. The Lord is a fighter. The Lord is His name.”

In my wildest dreams, I could never imagine how they felt after such a great rescue by God himself. Walking through the Red Sea after God had caused a great wind to blow and create walls of water on each side and the floor to dry out so they could walk through. But it only took one person to complain and soon a storm of voices rose up.

How quickly they forgot and began to grumble and complain. No water! No food! I think we’ve all done this. Watched as God delivered us in our time of greatest need, our desperate cry for help. We rejoiced when He answered, then we turned on Him and became self indulged with pleasures. We stopped going to church, stopped fellowshipping with Him because the need wasn’t great anymore.

We become appalled when the check bounces or God doesn’t do what we ask 24/7. We feel His blessings should continue even when we do nothing at all for Him. That is the very definition of entitlement right there. It’s a wonder the earth doesn’t open and swallow us up. Self centered to the core!

Can I worship him at home? Yes! and I do! But its no excuse to stay out of the house of the Lord, worshipping with one another, hearing a ‘now’ word. It’s no excuse to not be involved in ministry to others because the drive is too long or we don’t feel like it. The moment you stop, someone goes without what is in you to give.

I never want to miss that, God. I never want to be apart from You because of money, hurt or loss, because You alone can bring it all back. You continually fill my heart with life and the full measure of Love has been poured out on me. I’m so thankful that each time I draw a breath, it’s a miracle. I will never become so self absorbed that I forget my life is not my own. I’ve been purchase with the blood of Your dear son, Jesus.

Forever Grateful,

Sandy G

Miracles Still Happen

images

How many of you have ever received a personal word from the Lord? A promise that you’ve held onto but that hasn’t yet manifested? How many have been believing for a miracle?

Dictionary.com defines the word, miracle as; an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause, such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God.

In other words, if you could have done it yourself, it wouldn’t come close to the definition of a miracle. It’s something that only God can do! I want you think on that for just a minute. I feel like at times we try to ‘fix’ what is wrong instead of just trusting God to do it. When it doesn’t work in our timeline, we get impatient and feel like we just need to do something, anything.

You serve a God who is more than enough in and of Himself. He is well able to do exceedingly and abundantly above anything you could ask or imagine, but it’s not in your strength or ability, it’s in His. And guess what? His strength and ability is in us because He is in us.

It’s never a ‘maybe’ with Him, it’s a sure thing. He is unchangeable! When He says it, He means it. Psalm 138:2 says; I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your loving kindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your Word above all Your name.

Unlike us, God’s Word actually means something. He doesn’t lie as we often do. He doesn’t make promises He’s incapable of keeping. When He speaks, there is so much power behind His Words that they keep working and creating long after He’s spoken them.

So my friends, next time you get discouraged because you don’t see the change you’re expecting, I want you to focus on what God has done in the past and worship Him. Thank Him for all the known and unknown things in your past.  When you think of all He’s done for others, remember He’s no respecter of persons, what He did for others, He will do for you. It may not look the same, but He is faithful who promised.

The same voice that spoke to blind eyes, “Open!” is the same one who lives and works in you and me today. Open your mouth and declare, “Eyes open! Ears open! Mountain move! Provision come! Peace come!” And when you speak, don’t doubt but believe that what you say will happen.

Until Tomorrow,

Sandy G

How To Change What You Face

Unknown-1

Our God comes and does not keep silence; a fire devours before Him, and round about Him a mighty tempest rages. Psalm 50:3 AMPC

Oh my! For some reason this verse jumped out at me this morning. I don’t know what you’re expecting, but this shows me that when God comes on the scene, it is not quietly! I see someone who has cried out to God for a miracle. Perhaps it’s in your body, or in your bank account, or both. Perhaps it’s with your children, your marriage, your zip code, a friend, relationship, you’re desperate for a move of God.

A fire devours before Him, and round about Him a mighty tempest (big storm) rages. We’ve all seen what tornado’s and hurricane’s do; they get in and mess things up. Fire burns things up. I want you to picture things in your life that need to be destroyed so that new growth can spring up. Now, invite God into that area!

How do you do that? Simply invite Him on the scene. “Father, I’m a mess! I ask that you clean me up, fix my mess, organize this chaos. I’ve tried to do it on my own and it’s just not working. I don’t want to die! I know you have purpose for me, you cant’ be finished with me yet. My finances are a mess, my job is a mess, my family is a mess, my body is a mess. I NEED you. Every area of my life, I place it in your capable hands and I trust you to make me whole, body, soul, mind and spirit.”

Now, I want you to forget about your self and your issues. Can’t do that? Let me help you put it in perspective. Close your eyes and think of the largest mountain in the world. Now imagine your problem is the size of one grain of dirt. Do you get the comparison? God is bigger than your problem by far. When He comes on the scene, that mountain will be reduced to a plain.

Right now, I want you to lift your hands and praise the Lord. You take out your lab tests, your check book, pictures of your children, whatever problem you’re facing right now. Place it on the table and speak to it, “My God is bigger! He will rearrange you! He will make you right. He will come in like a flood and lift up his hand and say, ‘ENOUGH!’ There is nothing too hard for him. He’s God.”

Now get excited because God’s fixin to change some things!

Until Tomorrow,

Sandy G
