He Knows Everything

Whenever our hearts make us feel guilty and remind us of our failures, we know that God is much greater and more merciful than our conscience, and he knows everything there is to know about us.  1 John 3:20 TPT

If you’re alive and breathing, I know you’ve felt guilty at some point about something. I sure have! Seems my mind never lets me forget my failures, my weaknesses or decisions I’ve made that perhaps hurt someone else.

What does that kind of guilt and condemnation do to us? Well, I’m glad you asked that, because the next verse says it all: My delightfully loved friends, when our hearts don’t condemn us, we have a bold freedom to speak face-to-face with God. 1 John 3:21 TPT

Do you see that? This is exactly what the plan of the enemy is, to keep me from fellowshipping with God by keeping my mind occupied with ‘stupid’ stuff. But is I simply say, Father, forgive me if I’ve messed up. I’m thankful for the blood that washes away all guilt. It keeps the pathway to intimacy with Him open and clear.

Guilt keeps us in the dark, but truth keeps us in the light.

I want to live in the light, and the truth of His forgiveness and grace is the only thing I need to be thinking on. If and when God needs to show me the error of my ways, He will do it in a way where I will learn and move on. I was not designed to dwell out of fellowship with God. It is that alone that keeps me on the right path.

He knows everything. He knows my struggles and my failures and He still loves me. I can live with that!

Unrecognizable

Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children. The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize him. 1 John 3:1 TPT

Things haven’t changed a whole lot since Jesus walked the earth. There’s still a large populus of people who wouldn’t recognized Him if he actually walked the seashores today. Well, He actually does walk the earth today, doesn’t He? If indeed I carry the Holy Spirit in me, than Christ is in me. He is the hope of glory.

So just keep looking at the rich and deep love that our Father has lavished on us. Determine to be a carrier of that same Love to the world around you. It’s the only thing of value that we possess. Being a reflection of that Love is the only way this world will change.

Have a great weekend!

Thursdays Prayer

Lord, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of this Your servant and to the prayer of Your servants who delight in revering Your name. Give Your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man. Nehemiah 1:11

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us-yes, establish the work of our hands. Ps 90:17

I can’t have what I don’t ask for, so I ask for favor. At every turn, wherever I go, whatever I do, may I have divine connections and the favor of the Lord. Be with our pastors, parents, employers, our children, grandchildren and siblings. I ask not just for myself, but that your favor would be upon them all.

In Jesus’ Name and for Your glory, Lord, that your Kingdom would come upon the earth.

Amen

Flimsy Truth

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. John 8:44

I  heard the Lord say to me, “Remember the story of the 3 little pigs?” As He reminded me of the story, He showed me that it’s about anything based on lies.

God says, “I am getting ready to blow that house down. Everything that opposes my Word is getting ready to be blown apart. For I will expose not only the liar but the lie. Nothing has the right to say what I speak is a lie. You have the right to agree with My truth and stand with Me. This strengthens and redeems as I purpose.

“Don’t be weary of agreeing and decreeing into the atmosphere. It’s time to put away doubts and distraction and lean on My arm of righteousness. Have I not said, decree a thing and it will be established.

“The end of lies over your family is breaking and manifesting as my Truth. Hold onto your hope. Nothing is too hard for Me.  You’re mine, generationaly. My Word has already been established and nothing can stand against it. I’ve covenanted with your grandparents before you and I will never break it.
You’ve been faithful and I’ve watched over my Word to perform it. You can depend on me.

“Believe the prophecy. It has been written. Every morning when you rise, read it. Every evening read My promise to you. So shall it be written so shall it be done, in the name of the Father, the Spirit and Son. You’ve been awaiting directions.  Pick up my Word and you’ll know what’s to do.”

Only God Knows

And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:13-14

I’m really weary of people asking me if I’m pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation or post-tribulation. My answer is always, I’m here for such a time as this. There is only present for me. I’m focused on what I can do now, not tomorrow or the next day. I live in the moment, not wanting miss opportunities to make a difference in those around me. We’re not promised tomorrow, so stop trying to figure out when Jesus will return….He doesn’t even know! Only the Father knows the day and the hour.

How exciting to be in the Kingdom at this time. How exciting to know that the King of kings is on the throne, ruling and reigning in our hearts. This truth must be firmly established in us. We must not fear, but rather trust in the Lord completely and fully.

Stop being distracted. Don’t allow the news media to change what you know. The job of the enemy is to make you fearful, but God is clear in His promises to you. He will never leave or forsake you. Keep your eyes on Him and your hope in His promises.

Revelation 12:10: Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.”

Celebrate New Beginnings

And the Lord said, “I have certainly seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their outcry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings. So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. And now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them. Exodus 3:7‭-‬9 NASB

We have been crying out to God for our nation and although we’ve seen some contrary movements to what we expected, God has heard, He has seen and He’s moving on our behalf.

Over the past few weeks the courts have overturned 3 major protections to our constitution. Religious rights, right to bear arms and the right of the unborn to be protected.

I believe this is only the beginning of the manifestation of truth revealed. For all who didn’t give up and quit, who’ve placed their hope and trust in the unfailing grace of God, your redemption is at hand.

God will crush tyranny. He has already placed Satan under His feet and you have covenant with God. Please don’t forget that regardless of what you see around you.

Don’t leave out thanksgiving when you call out to God. Thanksgiving is the entrance to His courts. It’s a key element to access the throne room.

Thank God for opening blind eyes and setting people free from wrong thinking. It’s going to get better from here on out. Be encouraged and look for new beginnings to happen around you.

Just Consider This

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Romans 4:19

Lets break down the word ‘consider’ per the dictionary; to think carefully about, especially in order to make a decision; contemplate; reflect on; to regard as or deem to be; to think, believe, or suppose; to bear in mind; make allowance for; to pay attention to; regard.

So, Abraham did not consider, think about, contemplate, reflect on, or even bear in mind, the impossibility of he and Sarah having children. He only considered what God said. Therefore I submit to you that of we only consider God’s Word and not the report of the enemy, the diagnosis of the doctor, the balance in our checkbook or the lack in our pantry, what our car sounds like or looks like or lack thereof, what we see in the mirror….you get the picture, than we will see the promises of God come to pass regardless of the impossibility.

It all started when Eve considered what the serpent said. We’ve been considering ever since. STOP CONSIDERING!

Remember when the angel stood before Mary and told her she would be the mother of the Messiah? She responded correctly, “Be it unto me according to your Word”. Then she prophesied or spoke what what already in her heart. She never doubted or considered anything but what God said.

My dear friends, it’s time to change our thinking to line up with what God says, not what the world says. Commit to consider only what He promises to do.

Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5

He Picked Me

You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest regions, and said to you,

‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:9-10

Pick me! Pick me! Were you one of them? Growing up, I wasn’t the first pick on our neighborhood softball team. I was great at running (practice from running from my sister after I did or said something stupid!), but couldn’t hit or catch very well.

I don’t blame them for not picking me, after all, everyone wants people on their team who will help them win. But God saw something in me that no one else could see. He picked me! He saw that I caught truth and ran with it. He saw as I cheered on my teammates!

He told me, “I have a work for you that will help our team win. I have picked you!”

I hear him say to you this morning, “You are mine! I formed you before the world began. I have placed you here for such a time as this.”

We can do this people! We’re on the same team going toward the same goal, to proclaim His kingdom come onto the earth just as it is in Heaven. Let’s join hands with those who run beside us and win this race together.

Is He God Only When You’re Desperate?

And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat knelt and worshiped Him, saying, Truly You are the Son of God! Matthew 15:32-33

Now get this, these were the same men who followed Jesus from town to town watching him do multiple miracles. He had just fed 5000 plus with 5 loaves and 2 fish yet they didn’t know He was the Son of God? Seriously? It’s only when a storm came up and they faced death and saw Him walk on water to rescue them, that they believed.

What does God have to do for us, to get us to believe Him? We say we believe with our lips, but at the first sign of trouble, we’re all up in His face wondering where He is and why He’s not delivered. What about Psalm 34:15 and I Peter 3:12 where His eyes are always on us and His ears open to our cry?

Is God a fair-weather friend to you? I can’t answer that for you, but to me, He is an honored, faithful forever friend. Does He keep His Word only when I see it or even when I don’t? Will I love and trust Him only when it makes sense or even when it doesn’t?

He has already done everything He will ever do for you and now, it’s on you to believe it, receive it and speak it out. It’s time your faith in His promises becomes more than just a familiar passage that’s thrown out like a lifeline to someone struggling to stay afloat. To convince others, we must first believe it ourselves. That the same God who spoke it is able to back it up.

Oh my Forever Friend! How kind and true, how all knowing are You. I would never run to another when You’re so near. You’re always speaking but I must tune in to hear. There is no other who sees and knows all that I have need of before I do. You’ve got everything I need in Your hands and just as I need to see it, You blow it to me as an invisible kiss. My heart is Yours alone.

What Would Abraham Do?

Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. Genesis 12:1-4 NKJV

Abraham left his family and country to pursue the promise of a God he had only just met. Noah built a giant sized boat on the Word of an unseen God who said it would rain in a land that had never known rain. For 120 years he endured ridicule. David was anointed king but was hunted for years before he took the throne.

Who does that? People whose focus remains intentionally unwavering regardless of the time involved in the process.

We live in a society where waiting 3 minutes at a stoplight causes anxiety attacks and heaven help us if the drive thru window attendant is too friendly to the person in front of us.

When what God has promised doesn’t manifest in the time we’ve allowed Him, we tend to toss our faith away and assume God could care less. We couldn’t be more mistaken! He is more then faithful to a faithless generation.

There is absolutely nothing impossible to those who believe. Absolutely nothing! Don’t throw away your confidence just because it doesn’t show up when and how you think it should. Every story in the bible began with a promise. The length of time is determined by unwavering faith regardless of the odds and unchanging words.

Abraham got his son. Noah got his rain. David took his throne. You too will have what you’re willing to wait for. Just keep pursuing the presence of God and continue doing what he says.
