Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

I just had a very dear and long time friend/sister who went home to be with Jesus. My sister had been her nurse and caretaker as long as Walt and I have been married.

It’s difficult to fill the void that person leaves behind. I’m thankful that Jesus said He wouldn’t leave us or forsake us. He’s with us always, even to the ends of the earth.

Whatever situation you face, Jesus can fill the emptiness you’re feeling right now. Call out to Him. Say, Jesus, I need you. I’m lonely and need to feel your arms around me. Comfort me as my world adjusts itself around me.

Thank you Lord. I know I’ll behold you soon and all my friends and family who have gone before me. I look forward to that day. Amen
