Don’t Moan at the Unknown

There is nothing scarier then the unknown. Has God ever given you a Word, a promise or perhaps a vision that was so far beyond your frame of reference that you couldn’t even imagine? You hesitated to even tell the closest of your friends because it sounded that incredible, yet you knew it was going to come to pass, you just couldn’t see how.

In Luke 1:38 after the angel had announced to Mary that she was going to get pregnant by the Holy Spirit and have the Son of God and that her cousin Elizabeth was pregnant, she spoke in agreement with the angel because she knew the value of agreement with God.

“Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.”

If what God has spoken over you didn’t require faith and agreement, then you would get the credit, not Him. There’s more to this then meets the eye. In fact, if you can see it in the natural, you’re not thinking big enough because the God who created the universe that keeps on growing, has a much larger point of reference then you or I combined.

God has asked many of us to step out of the boat of our comfortable life and come to Him but we’re afraid of what’s out there, what could happen, losing our security, being ‘different’, not fitting in. We just want to live our lives, die and go to heaven to get our reward.

THAT’S JUST NOT ENOUGH FOR ME! God didn’t wire me that way! He wired me for adventure, to create, to speak life, to heal, to raise up, to proclaim. I’M SIMPLY NOT OF THIS WORLD. God is just waiting for me to take the first step of obedience out of the boat.

Are you listening? Please hear the Father say; “If I called you out of the boat, I’m able to change the molecular structure of the water so you can walk on it. Is anything too difficult for me?”

God wants to use ordinary people like you and me to do extraordinary things. Put on your super-human cloak of righteousness, grab the sword of the Word, don’t forget the shield of Faith to quench those fiery darts of doubt and unbelief and lets go! Clark Kent was just a reporter until he stepped out to put on his cape. You can do ALL things through Christ. Lets do this!

Until Tomorrow,

Sandy G
