Are you ready? Ready for the unexpected, supernatural, awesome direction of the Lord today? Will you allow Him to be in total control? Are you listening for His voice to direct you?
“This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!” Romans 8:15-17 Message
God has purpose for you and He has to break dread off you to do it. Did you hear that? Stop going through life afraid. Stop going through the motions of daily routine. Be an active participant in this journey He’s carved out for you. Be brave and make up your own song to the Lord. Thats right, no one needs to hear it but you and God.
The first time I did this, I was in the car on a trip and I began to sing a new song to the Lord. I began to laugh, but it wasn’t an embarrassed laugh, it was a joyful, playful laugh with my Father. God wants you to take some risk in life, not play it safe. The only thing safe about serving the Lord is knowing we will dwell in the safety of His arms. It doesn’t mean we won’t do some free falling, but as the mother eagle swoops down and saves the eaglet until he can fly on his own, so our Father will swoop down to save us until we get our faith muscle built up and learn to trust in Him completely.
If you always do what’s safe to do, you’ll never reach where He wants you to go. He needs you to need Him! He didn’t tell you to do what’s comfortable, He said He’d never leave you. He didn’t say wait till you have it all together, He said He would make a way where there seems to be no way.
Don’t be afraid of the unknown, rather form relationship with Him and watch Him sprinkle color on the black and white canvas of your life. When life makes no sense, He’s merely working the colors into the ordinary and breathing life into dead places. When He’s finished, you won’t even recognize yourself.
Until Tomorrow,
Sandy G
Powerful message!! Thank you Lord!!
I pray that the Lord continues to use our hearts as the paper on which He writes, and use it as as the canvas on which He paints….
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them…..Ephesians 2:10
