It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.”

Reading the Bible is a good thing for several reasons. It’s alive and powerful. It gives instruction and correction. It gives strength to go in the right direction, leading you closer to truth and godliness.

I want to walk as close to God as I can. I want to know the truth so that I can be free of deception and live in His glorious light. To be a reflection so that the world sees Him instead of me.

I want to be mature and prepared for any assignment He gives me, whether it be to plant, water or harvest. To be sensitive to His voice, eager to please Him regardless of how it appears to me.

Read the Word daily. Hide it in your heart. Know that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. You have everything you need to do what God needs you for every day for the rest of your life.
