When Trust Rules

“I say this because I know the plans that I have for you.” This message is from the LORD. “I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me, and when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 ERV

Trust. Thats what I feel the Lord is speaking to me this morning. The word trust is defined: reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of (GOD) a person or thing; confidence.

Notice how I slipped God in that definition. I just added His name and look how your confidence level changed. You see, God never intended for us to trust in what we see, but in what is unseen. For it’s the unseen that changes the seen in any situation, not the other way around.

Don’t try to humanize God by bringing Him down to the level of your need. Bring your need to the level of your God. It’s not even fair to your need because God is WAY bigger and you can trust Him.

Close your eyes and compare your problem to your God. No contest! It’s time to lift up the things you’ve been trying to carry to the God who has GOOD plans for you. He’s not hiding from you, but you have to close your eyes to see Him. Love you my friends.

Like a vacuum, may He suck you into Himself and show you what He’s capable of.

Trusting,

Sandy G
