Be Bold

I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the Lord, speak only what is true and declare only what is right. Isaiah 45:19 NLT

Why is it God publicly proclaims His bold and audacious promises? So that everyone, not just Christians or Jews, but everyone will know that He is God. Just as He did with Moses, from the burning bush all the way through the wilderness, faithfully protecting them, delivering them time and time again.

I can trust that when I lay hold of His promises, it’s only a matter of moments before I see the end result. If He said it, I believe it. He always keeps His Word to me. It doesn’t matter what it looks like. It doesn’t matter what people are saying around me. What matters is the amazing promises He made and they still carry weight today.

They are not secrets whispered in the forest for only the trees to hear. He made them to you and I because He wants us to know Him, in all His fullness and glory. He’s declared His love to us so that we would desire relationship with Him.

I want to be like my Father this week, declaring bold promises! I’m coming into agreement with His Word of truth. For everything I have need of, He’s already provided. There’s nothing He hasn’t thought of, His supply is vast and His hand is not short that it can’t reach us.

Father, measure the words of my mouth. Anything that tries to come out that is contrary to Your Words, Your will or Your ways, stop them at the gate. I will not speak against Your Word. I will not speak my feelings, the facts of my circumstances or the things I see in the natural. Your Word changes all of that! My words will not sound like the worlds words. My thoughts will not be like the worlds thoughts. Everything must bow to Your living Word of truth. Thank you that as I seek You this morning, I will find you. You’re not hiding from me. I call Your name and You respond. Oh that fills me, thrills me, chills me. All hail King Jesus! I welcome You into my words and ways. Change me into Your image and likeness that all men may be drawn to You.

Until Tomorrow,

Sandy G
