There is someone out there who has had a pretty crappy week so I’m just going to take this time to say, you’re not alone! Will you allow me to encourage you today? This isn’t just a nice, sweet word. This is a declaration over you that things are going to turn around quickly.

The beginning of your week may have hit you hard, but the end will be better than your beginning. God has shown you mercy and you know it, so rejoice in it. Take the win and fall into His arms. Favor isn’t fair, but this favor is from God.

He recognizes your frustration and anger. He’s well acquainted with it. Still you can count on Him to come through for you every time. You’ve extended your hand to Him in worship right in the middle of it all and I’m not sure you felt it, but I saw Him reach down and take your face in His hands and kiss away your tears. Did you feel the hug as He wrapped you in His arms? I saw that too.

Keep doing it. Keep going to Him. Keep returning to His throne of grace again and again because He will never ever ever turn you away. You’re His favorite. He holds your future, your twisted past and He has plans for you that if you knew, would blow your mind.

So rejoice! Lift up your hands, close your eyes and fall back into His arms. He’s waiting for you. He will hold you in His arms until this storm passes by.
