Guess what? Do you know that the Word can stay dormant in our hearts? These men and women in Acts had been with Jesus, heard His Words, sat with Him while He taught them. It was lying dormant until the Holy Spirit was poured out. Jesus told them in John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” So you see, the Holy Spirit reminds us, but we have to activate it by applying it in faith to the situation we’re believing for. Perhaps you have a disease in your body, what are you going to amplify, the problem of the solution. God’s just waiting to see what you’re going to do with His Word. If you apply it in faith and trust in His ability, not your own, it will do what it’s sent to do. Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent His Word and healed them,” so when we ‘send’ His Word, we know it heals. You may see the results right away or it may be a process, but will you pass the test and continue letting the Word do it’s perfect work in you?
What message are you sending to your body? Health and wholeness or death and dying? The more you speak what you see, the more you’re guaranteed to have what you’re saying. Jesus called those things that were not as though they were. He spoke death to a fig tree and it died, from the root up! He spoke life to Lazarus after he was dead and buried and he lived. Is anything to hard for God? Do you understand now what you have living inside of you? God’s Word says, you are healed! Will you activate and amplify that healing He’s already provided, or will you continue talking about your issue, being ‘relate-able’ to those around you? Don’t you see? You were never meant to be sick and poor, barely getting by. You have the living Word of God in you which is applicable to every situation you face.
Father, multiply Your Word in me that I may know and understand the riches of your grace and mercy, peace and wholeness. I want to reflect it in my body and in my speech. I really want to be like You. All my life growing up, people would comment, “She looks just like her daddy!” Now my daddy is with You and I’m here, Your daughter. I want to look like You, Father God. I want my faith to delight You, my love to be like Yours. I trust You will never leave or forsake me. I trust that I have all I need inside of me to overcome any and all situations the enemy may throw at me. I will place my shield of faith up and use Your Word to quench every dart the enemy may throw my way. I will work the Word because Your Word works. It’s in Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen
