“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” Matthew 11:28-30 TPT

Are you tired? Feel like you’re carrying a load you weren’t meant to carry? You’re not alone my friend. Seems there are more traveling the same road than you’re aware of.

Jesus observed the same thing happening while He was on the earth. He wants us to come to Him, lay those things at His feet so He can be the oasis we’re in need of.

Sometimes we make things difficult but Jesus made it simple. Just join your life with Him, learn His ways and discover that He’s gentle, humble and easy to please.

He said that all He requires of you will be pleasant and easy to bear. So if it’s not, perhaps you’re carrying things He never asked you to carry. Just sayin!

So today, let’s lay down the heavy stuff and allow His refreshing to permeate your soul. Find rest in Him and let Him carry the load that’s been weighing you down. It’s that easy.
