Strengthen the exhausted, and make the feeble strong. Say to those with anxious heart, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The retribution of God will come, But He will save you.” Isaiah 35:3-4 NASB2020
I encourage you to be an encourager today. To heighten your senses as you walk through the lunch room. Find someone who looks alone and downhearted. Look for a way to complement their outfit or their hair. Make their day amazing.
Be a friend to those who desperately need one. To the single mom or dad who are exhausted and discouraged. Offer a hand with the kids so they can grocery shop unhindered.
Perhaps you have a senior next door that needs some little jobs done. Simple tasks like changing a lightbulb, hanging a picture or sharing a beverage and a listening ear.
These are just some ways that we can show the love of Jesus to those around us. Everybody’s busy. But let’s try not to be too busy.
I challenge you today to do one good thing each day this week and make a difference in someone around you. You can do it!
