And God-Enthroned spoke to me and said, “Consider this! I am making everything to be new and fresh. Write down at once all that I have told you, because each word is trustworthy and dependable.” Revelation 21:5 TPT

A fresh start. Everything new. Wouldn’t that be nice!

I think sometimes the stuff that’s crowding our viewpoint, overwhelms us so much that we lose hope that anything will truly change for us. We see others receiving their answers, but somehow we’ve been left in the shadows.

But what if we focus on the 2nd part of that verse. Each word is trustworthy and dependable. It’s not subject to time. It can hold up under the wildest storms or a raging fire.

We’re not dealing with things on our own, but rather trusting in our Father who loves it when we lean on and depend totally on Him.

He is making all things new and fresh for us. Not our boss or our bank account. Not our doctor or lab work. If nothing changes in your current situation or circumstances, lift up your hands and thank Him for what He’s doing.

Don’t stomp your feet in a tantrum or shake your fist at the heavens. Just because things didn’t turn out like you’d hoped, He has a plan to take what was meant to destroy you and use it for your good and His glory.

This is a new week, use it to be better, not bitter.
