And while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us! What a picture of Gods love and redemption for His bride. 2 Peter 3:9 says; The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think. Instead, he is patient with you, because he does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins.

How can we not love and cry out for those who fail to see that kind of love. He stands waiting! Waiting for us to show His redemptive love in the earth. He’s already done everything He will do, now it’s our turn.

Everyday, God sends lost people across your path to reflect that love to. Deep abiding, unconditional love, the kind that overwhelms you. I’m not talking about those who already love us! I’m talking about those who hate you, who talk about you, who’ve hurt you, who you distance yourself from.

These are someones mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. Someones wife or husband, all created by one loving Father who gave His own son so that they could know of His great love for them. We need to stop living life like it’s all about us, because it’s not! It’s all about others.

I hope this does more then tickle your ears. “Oh, great word today, Sandy!” No. That can’t be the end of the greatest love story ever written. I hope this lights a fire inside of you to BE LOVE to the hard, the broken, the mean, the smelly, the ugly, abused and rejected that we’ve refused to really see around us.
