This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message. We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That’s what I’m working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so generously gives me. Colossians 1:28-29 Message Bible

This mystery is still being hidden, kept in the dark from many of us today; that Christ is in us. He’s not a far away promise, not even an inaccessible deity. He is in us.

You see, after Jesus left the earth, He told us He would send the Holy Spirit and that they were to wait for Him. On the day of Pentecost, He was poured out and they spoke in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. He entered the 120 that had gathered and filled them with power to be witnesses and it says that 3000 followers were added that day.

Today, we’ve been deceived into believing we are powerless, when that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us! He makes us powerful and that power is accessible in us who believe. What is not seen has become more real than what is seen.

My friend, it’s like priming the pump that brings water from the well; keep pumping and soon the water will come. Keep believing! Keep speaking! The same power is in you and if you continue speaking His Word in your situation, soon you will see the manifestation of that power. It will touch your mind, will and emotions. It will keep you in peace. It will bring provision. Your healing will be seen. Keep believing! Don’t let the lies of the enemy convince you that you are powerless!

Father, we hope in You. We will declare that the power of Your Holy Spirit lives in us and will bring the results we are believing for. Prosperity is in us. Healing is in us. Protection is in us. No weapon formed against us will prosper and every tongue that rises against us in judgement, You will condemn. We are Your people and we trust in You! It’s in Jesus’ name and for Your glory. Amen!
