And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’  Exodus 13:15

Was reading this morning of all God did to Egypt & Pharaoh to deliver His children. Then I began noticing similarities between then and now, the biggest being that the people were oppressed & accepted it until they began killing the baby boys.

What will it take for Gods people to wake up and cry out to Him? Nevertheless, God will deliver & receive the glory!

When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

Do you hear the call to repent? Not for yourself or your family, but for your neighbors and the world around you. To humble yourself and pray. To seek Gods face with confident assurance that He hears and will answer. That our land will be healed of all the insanity that has overtaken it.

This morning, wake up and call out. Don’t wait for tomorrow, for tomorrow may never come.
