Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. “For I, the Lord, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing. I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them.” Isaiah 61:7-8 NLT

Every day I get up and face down the day. It’s almost humerus that stuff keeps happening over and over again. I just get through one roadblock and another pops up. I cried out to the Lord and said, “I need a breakthrough. I feel like I’m being buried alive and I need you to dig me out.”

I truly believe that the Lord loves when we cry out to him. He’s our father and He loves to take care of us. There is nothing He would rather do than to bring breakthrough to His children.

I know sometimes it feels like He’s taking His own sweet time about it, but we can trust Him to know the perfect time to bring us what we need. It’s usually when we’ve run out of our own resources and we lay it all down at His feet, that’s when he frees us from our troubles.

So right now where you are, in the middle of your roadblocks, at your crossroads where you are not sure which way to go, right or left, call out to Him! Let Him prove Himself to you as your provider. Let Him come through and rescue you once again. Then give Him a breakout praise, even before the answer comes. When there’s no reason other than to lavish love on Him.

Get ready for your double portion. Get ready for joy unspeakable and full of glory. He’s waiting for your cry for help.
