What a way to start out my day! In a world where truth and justice seems an illusion, Gods truth and justice will stand. It’s not by my might or power, it’s by His.

So often I’ve thumbed through the old testament in search of stories about the God of truth and justice and read them over and over to allow faith to rise in my heart. Like so many in the world, the things we hear about or watch on the news can discourage us and make us wonder, does God see? Does He hear?

Well here’s the good news my dear friends; Yes, why yes He does! 1 Peter 3:12 says, “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

Those words were written by one who walked with Jesus and I’m pretty sure he knew that it didn’t exempt him from persecution, rather that his confidence was truly in the Lord who ordered his steps and whom he gladly laid his own life down for.

The words at the end of this Psalm says all we need to know about God. Awe-inspiring miracles are accomplished by your power, leaving everyone dazed and astonished! Everything He does is to show a measure of who He is and always will be.

Look no further. Keep your hope in God Almighty, All-Powerful, Never Failing, our Firm Foundation. Be assured that He has an awe-inspiring miracle coming to a place near you. Be assured! Plant your feet and hold on.

Truth and justice will prevail!
