Everything you have made will praise you, fulfilling its purpose. And all your godly lovers will be found bowing before you. Psalm 145:10
When I read this passage, it just made me smile, a big huge toothy smile. I’m going to take some liberty and add to what David penned–Everything and everyone You have made will praise you, fulfilling their purpose. It actually goes along with Isaiah 45:23–I make this solemn oath to you in my own name; this word sent from my mouth in righteousness will not return unfulfilled: ‘Truly every knee will bow before me and every tongue will solemnly swear allegiance to me!’
Please don’t be misinformed. He didn’t say only Christians, He said every. Regardless of your point of view, opinions or allegiance, male, female, confused gender, old, young–everyone will bow and call Him King.
And what about His lovers? The ones who have lay down their dreams, ideas and plans to build His Kingdom and reflect His love in the earth? They will be found bowing before Him. What does that look like?
Dictionary.com defines the word bow: to bend the knee or body or incline the head, as in reverence, submission, salutation, recognition, or acknowledgment. To yield; submit.
Why will we be found bowing before Him? Because we’ve already learned to yield and submit to Him as Lord and Master of our lives. We are a living sacrifice, totally surrendered, not so everyone can see, but for His eyes only.
Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. Romans 12:1 Passion Translation
