I don’t know about you, but this sounds like what I really need today. Do what you do so well, get me out of this mess and up on my feet! It’s been some kind of week and I’m thankful as always for Friday.

Put your ear to the ground and listen, give me space for salvation. Oh my! That word is such a huge word. When I think of salvation it always brings me back to that day as a child when I asked Jesus into my heart. He saved me from my sins.

For years I thought that was all there was to it. I’m saved! But I discovered that wasn’t the sum of it, that was only the beginning. I discovered that the moment Jesus said, “It is finished!” He wasn’t declaring his death, He was declaring my future. His finished work saved me from poverty, sickness, disease and gave me access to Love, peace, joy, untold riches and success in everything I put my hands to.

He became the open door to my heavenly Father. The Way, the Truth and the Life, my retreat from pressure into pleasures forevermore. One moment in His presence brings realization of my place in His plan. Forever valuable to Him. His prize. Me. You. Together we make up His Bride.

He’s coming for us soon my remnant friend. Don’t be weary in the waiting for in due season, you will reap if you faint not.
