God is Keeping Score

Unknown

Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord.  Instead, if your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads. Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:19-23

Leave it to God to go in the completely opposite way of the world. ‘Bless those who curse you, do good to those who spitefully use you.’  WHAT YOU SAY? Yes, you heard it right. When you respond as the world does you become like the world, but when you respond Gods way, you show the world you’re different. We show them we are children of God.

We’ve all been there and it’s never an easy place to be. To be falsely accused, hated, ridiculed, taken to court, doesn’t seem fair at all, does it? Let me say this, I’ve watched God turn the most hopeless situations around when they responded in love. It didn’t happen right away, it may have taken 10 years, but God will always keep his Word, not in our time, but His.

Trust Him, it will turn out in your favor if you do what’s right. On Gods scoreboard, we’re always winning.

Until Tomorrow,

Sandy G

  1. This is the exact word that the Lord’s given and shown me for these situations! Wow!!

  2. Precious One says:

Hallelujah! We serve a God who knows all that is going on with us, and will vindicate and plea our causes each and every time. There is no need for us to keep scores and tabulate results, Abba does it all 🙌🏽
