Your Oasis Awaits

Unknown

“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” Matthew 11:28-30 TPT

Life can be trying at times, but knowing where to go and receive refreshment, that’s so key. Such is the invitation we see in these verses given by Jesus himself; Come.

That’s what I like to call my mornings with God, when I take the time to be refreshed and drink deeply from His Word. It’s my own personal time of sitting at His feet, showering Him with my love and affections and in return, He becomes my Living Water and my Bread of Life.

There is no sweeter communion! I don’t need a cup of wine or a loaf of bread, He is simply enough. My refreshment and my rest. He strengthens me for the day that will dawn very soon.

When I think of all He’s faithfully provided for me, all He’s given so that I can walk in power and authority over all the power of the wicked one, I’m in awe. Even when fear knocks at my door, I cry out to Him and He invades my space, bringing peace with Him.

Holy Spirit, I’m so very blessed to have You in me. I’m so grateful for Your wisdom and guidance each and everyday. Communing with You each day has been such a sustaining force in my life. Praying in my Spirit language constantly strengthens me and enables me to be and do what I was meant to be and do. An instrument of service, that is what I am. May my life be pleasing in Your sight today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Until Tomorrow,

Sandy G

Wonderful Sandy. He really is enough, isn’t He? We are so blessed to have a Lord that is always with us no matter the circumstance.
