So resist the temptation to pronounce premature judgment on anything before the appointed time when all will be fully revealed. Instead, wait until the Lord makes his appearance, for he will bring all that is hidden in darkness to light and unveil every secret motive of everyone’s heart. Then, when the whole truth is known, each will receive praise from God. 1 Corinthians 4:5 TPT
We think we know but we really don’t. We see so little and judge so much but here he says to hold off, don’t be judging what you see because you don’t see it all and you won’t until God reveals the whole truth in the end.
In a courtroom, we “swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God”, when in actuality, we’re telling our perception of the truth that we think we know based on the small portion of what we’ve observed. In other words, it’s just our opinion based upon our observation.
Can I just break out a bit of news to you? Even when you think you know, you don’t really know it all. How many times have you read a scripture and thought you ‘knew’ what God meant, then suddenly He shows you another aspect or shines a revelation light and what you had never seen before becomes clear and it’s mind bending!
When Jesus returns, I can’t wait to see the entire picture He’s been drawing because this part that I see just looks ugly and it doesn’t make a lick of sense. You see, I see one pixel of the picture He’s trying to make and it’s just distorted because I’m way too close to it, but when the whole picture is revealed we will each receive praise from God for our tiny part in doing what He’s asked us to do.
Now that, my dear friend is enough to make you break out in a happy dance. It will cause you to change your shoes and do the Friday praise dance because what you thought was ugly, was beautiful in His eyes. What you thought was a mess, became a message of good news to those discouraged and downcast around you.
Hello out there my remnant friend. You thought to give up on Monday, but God gave you hope throughout the week just so that you could find the hidden praise on Friday. Lift your hands and shout out your praise to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. You are His and He rejoices in you. You will understand it all someday and on that day, God Himself will give you praise!
Until Monday Comes Again,
Sandy G
