Then the Lord said to me, “Look, Jeremiah! What do you see?”
And I replied, “I see a branch from an almond tree.” Jeremiah 1:11
If you want to see what God sees, you must learn to stretch the boundaries of your imagination because God is a very big thinker. What He says, He does. His Word never returns to Him empty of void but always accomplishes what He says.
He made us in His image and likeness and God is a Spirit, therefore He created our spirits to be like His. He expects us to reach deep inside of us and declare the things we don’t yet see so that it will come into existence.
I hear some of you say, “That’s a bit extreme, don’t you think?”
Let’s look at what Jesus said in Mark 11:22-23: Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.”
He wouldn’t have taught His disciples this principle had it not been a key element in saying, seeing and believing. Our problem is that if our minds can’t comprehend it, we just can’t believe it and that my friend is doubt.
The Holy Spirit in you is your link to God. If you believe He is in you, then for heaven’s sake don’t limit His ability to manifest what you’re believing for. Remember when Paul talked about fighting the ‘good fight of faith’? Well that’s learning to stand in faith and trust that what you have said will indeed come to pass.
How do you do that? Search the Bible for scripture that you can use against doubt when it comes, because it will! Write them out on a paper and when it comes, fight it with the Word.
Example: When you are in lack and need money to meet your bills, get in the presence of the Lord and say, “Father, I come into agreement with Your Word over my finances. You said You would supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory. That wasn’t according to mine! I work for You so I believe I receive in Jesus’ name. Now when the enemy of doubt comes, pull out your arsenal of Scriptures and shoot them at him like you’re shooting arrows at a target. When the devil finds he can’t get you he will flee. Not saying he won’t return, but being prepared, you can send him packing again.
Stop looking at what you see in the natural and believing that’s the final outcome. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how He sees it than believe what He sees, not what you see. He is well able to do exceedingly above all you can ask, think or even imagine according to the power that works in you.
What is that power that works in you? The Holy Spirit! It’s time to rely on Him instead of you. You’re just along for the ride and if you allow Him to, it will be the greatest ride of your life.
