“This is God’s Message to Zerubbabel: ‘You can’t force these things. They only come about through my Spirit,’ says God-of-the-Angel-Armies. ‘So, big mountain, who do you think you are? Next to Zerubbabel you’re nothing but a molehill. He’ll proceed to set the Cornerstone in place, accompanied by cheers: Yes! Yes! Do it!’” Zechariah 4:6-7 MSG
There are times I get so excited with what I see in my spirit that I just want to run with it. But those are the times I hear God say, “Hold your horses, little girl! The final race is close to starting but I’m still getting people lined up.” Good Lord Almighty! Get it together people! Kidding!
I believe the Lord is saying that the magnitude of this final race and the amount of participants involved is mind boggling. What He is putting together will totally astound believers everywhere. Woot Woot!
A while back I mentioned Elijah standing in the cave thinking he was the only prophet left on the face of the earth, when in reality he was one of 7000. Just because we can’t see it doesn’t make it not so. When God says it, you can take it to the bank because His Word is alive. You may have thought it wasn’t going to happen but trust me, it is!
He could have said it thousands of years ago, but it’s just been in a dormant season until the time of germination was over and BAM! Here it comes, pushing through the ground. It’s growing green stuff on it’s little stem, but as fertilizer is applied, it’s growth will take off quickly and before you know it, a mighty tree has developed and is now bearing fruit to feed the world.
Oh God, I think I know it all and see it all but in reality, I see so little of it. It’s so much bigger then I can imagine. A tree that size can’t grow overnight nor can I take it all in my line of sight. But You oh God, You know all and see all. You’ve planned it from the beginning when You created the universe. This was always in Your masterpiece and me, I’m that tiny speck of red in the lower corner, the place You’ve written Your name. I remain humbly and forever Yours, Amen.
