Have you ever been tired? You know what I mean, like there’s just not enough sleep to catch you up. Lately I’ve been waking up at 2:30 a.m., laying there for an hour and finally getting up, but when it’s time to leave for work, I’m just so tired I could easily lay back down and sleep for at least 2 hours.
Everyone has experienced those feelings, but responsibility says, “No! You get yourself to work because people are counting on you to do your job!” Well, when I read Galatians 6:9 NASB this morning, I knew exactly what brother Paul was saying; Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
Though weariness is a true and valid feeling, we must not give into it, especially when it comes to serving the Lord. There are people out there who are waiting for what’s in you. You must rise up and do your job. You must not grow weary in doing good. You are someones hope today. You are someones encourager today. If you weren’t valuable, the enemy would not be trying to take you out of the game!
Father, I thank you that you are my strength this day. When I’m tired, you strengthen me and lift me up. I’m so thankful for another day that you can show yourself strong in me. I pray for every weary warrior out there. As they go about doing good, healing all that are oppressed, Lord lift up their heavy heart and breathe into them. You are well able. It’s in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
