Every Great Dream Begins With A Dreamer!

What an honor to wake up at 2:30 in the morning knowing that my Father is waiting for me to come and talk with him. I’m grateful that he gave me the rest I needed to make it through a very busy day of work, after all, he knows me well and cares for me always!

This morning, I found a treasure waiting. It’s found in Isaiah 54:1-8 HCSB translation:

“Rejoice, childless one, who did not give birth; burst into song and shout, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the forsaken one will be more than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. “Enlarge the site of your tent, and let your tent curtains be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes, and drive your pegs deep.  For you will spread out to the right and to the left, and your descendants will dispossess nations and inhabit the desolate cities. “Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame; don’t be humiliated, for you will not be disgraced. For you will forget the shame of your youth, and you will no longer remember the disgrace of your widowhood. Indeed, your husband is your Maker—His name is Yahweh of Hosts—and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the earth. For the Lord has called you, like a wife deserted and wounded in spirit, a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” says your God. “I deserted you for a brief moment, but I will take you back with great compassion.  In a surge of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, but I will have compassion on you with everlasting love,” says the Lord your Redeemer.

There are several things that speak to me this morning from this passage. You may see it in another way, but I have learned to apply the Word to myself, personally. I see years of fruitless labor, sowing and not reaping, investing in others and having them walk away. I see visions and dreams from long ago yet to manifest, yet I know they were from the Lord. I hear the Lord say, “Rejoice! Make ready! Think bigger than you’ve ever dared think before. Right here in your season of great loss, anticipate great gain. All the words spoken in agreement with my Word are getting ready to burst onto the scene. Like watching a movie in fast forward x 4, it will unfold so quickly that you’ll be left wondering, what just happened here! There were those who laughed behind your back, saying, ‘Ha! They will fail and they will fall, they are foolish to have done such a thing!’ but I the Lord am your redeemer. I have taken care of you before and will continue to care for you after.”

Wow! Thank you Father for that promise. Thank you for your faithfulness to me. I have always trusted in you, but I’m ready to trust you even more. Where you’re taking me is beyond my scope of reference, but as long as you’re with me, I can do this! Like the man who said, “Lord I believe, help my unbelief!” I also ask you to help me with my self inflicted limitations. Take the limits off my thinking and believing! Erase the lines that try to hold me back! Where you lead me, I will follow. You’ll go with me all the way. It’s in the name of your beautiful Son Jesus that I ask this. Amen
