“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:2-3
Access to unsearchable things, it’s like a bottomless treasure chest. Like having the ear of a professor, any question you might have about any given subject, just ask and He will tell you. Wow! Everyday, we try to figure things out on our own when the we have access to the one who created it all. We get so frustrated with simple things and He just said, ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you.’
We safely made the trip to Michigan last weekend and I was so grateful for the maps feature on my cell phone. It’s a handy gadget to have on hand when traveling. I have another app that shows me all the gas stations available and what the prices are at any given exit. It’s all at my fingertips and so easy to use. It made our trip so much easier, even showed us where there was construction zones and auto accidents so we could adjust accordingly.
And God has given us an app for life, it’s called the Bible, the Word of God. Consulting this book will make our life so much easier to navigate. It’s our GPS for daily choices and lifetime decisions. Such a simple thing, yet so few use it. It’s sad really. We rely so on a cell phone to do so much but the last thing we consult is God.
Father, as we go through our day, help us to make time and room for you. We don’t want to miss out on the best advise ever-yours. Thank you for the reminder that you’re available 24/7. Your signal is never weak, your tower never too far away. No matter how busy we get, you’re always with us. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
