No Doubt About It

We can come to God with no doubts. This means that when we ask God for things (and those things agree with what God wants for us), God cares about what we say. He listens to us every time we ask him. So we know that he gives us whatever we ask from him. I John 5:14-15 ERV

It’s so simple, isn’t it? When we come to Him with no doubts, no wondering if He truly is who He says He is, we can ask for what we need and He’ll provide. He cares. He listens each time we ask. Like the loving Father He is, watching over us, allowing us the assurance of His love.

According to Dictionary.com, the word doubt is defined; to be uncertain about; consider questionable or unlikely; hesitate to believe: to distrust or regard with suspicion.

I’ve been hearing a lot of this lately on social media, in conversations with people I love and hold dear. Seems they have doubts. Doubts as to whether God really cares, whether He’s really the provider, healer and help in time of trouble. Doubts about Him keeping His Word or perhaps it is they’re doubting based on what they think He should have done or how they think He should have responded to this situation or that.

It is true that some of them did not believe the message. But does this mean that God cannot be trusted, just because they did not have faith? No, indeed! God tells the truth, even if everyone else is a liar. The Scriptures say about God, “Your words will be proven true, and in court you will win your case.” Romans 3:3-4 CEV

But no doubts means just that. No oscillating back and forth between two opinions–yours or Gods. We must be convinced that God is a good Father and wants His children well and prospering. If you know the Word of God, you’ll have no problem believing when He says it, He means it. Relationship makes all the difference! You won’t believe someone you don’t personally know and trust. You’ll come up short even is you take my word for it.

Doubt and fear are the weapons of choice the devil uses, not God. Satan will try to remind you of your failures, God reminds you of your future. Don’t doubt Gods deep love for you and that His plans for you are for always good, not evil. Believe you receive what you ask for and go on your way rejoicing as if it’s already done, because it is.

I Choose Not to Doubt,

Sandy G

Let it Go

God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So your new life should be like this: Show mercy to others. Be kind, humble, gentle, and patient. Don’t be angry with each other, but forgive each other. If you feel someone has wronged you, forgive them. Forgive others because the Lord forgave you. Together with these things, the most important part of your new life is to love each other. Love is what holds everything together in perfect unity. Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking. It is for peace that you were chosen to be together in one body. And always be thankful. Colossians 3:12-15

When I read this, I realized that if more Christians would make this their goal, there would be less hate, less hurt feelings, less bitterness and less strife. Forgive, love and always be thankful. When there is sickness in a body, it’s because we’ve allowed things in that our immune system is unable to fight off. Pretty soon, it takes over and we need assistance getting on top of it and feeling well again.

If you focus on the hurt, talk about it, rehearse it, you become a contagious, infectious wound that will take some scraping, flushing and medicating to get well again. But if you show mercy, are kind, humble, gentle and patient. If you stop being angry and forgive, repeatably just as God forgave you, you become a healer instead of someone who needs healing. It’s the way God made us you know. It’s far more blessed to give than to receive.

You say, “It would be so much easier to just get away from the hurt!” and you’re right, it would be. But that’s not what this is about. It’s about you learning to love beyond your ability to love. It’s about you learning to forgive beyond your ability to forgive. It’s allowing the love of God to free flow through you and not be hung up on stuff that’s stuck inside of you. Let it go! Live a life of love, Gods love. Don’t get stuck where you are. There are people out there who need what’s inside of you. Let it go so you can love again.

Ever Letting Go,

Sandy G

You Were Born For This

And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who passionately seek him. Hebrews 11:6 TPT

Have you ever planted a small seed into the ground? I’ve planted a few things in my lifetime, but since my thumb is anything but green, and having little understanding of the process, I’ve had to rely on what I read on the package. You know what I mean, the package the seed comes in has directions on the back. It tells how deep to plant, how far apart from other seeds, what the soil needs to nourish the seed, even how much sunlight it needs.

Some plants need room to grow, like watermelon and squash. Some need to grow in mounds, like potatoes. Others grow in straight lines without much room between because they grow downward, like carrots and beets. Each and every seed is unique to what is in them but all are created to produce after their own kind. For example, you get whatever you plant.

Seems like a pretty simple and straight forward concept, right? But how many of us expect others to be just like us even though they were created for a specific purpose. If given the room to grow and the right environment to grow in, their potential to produce a harvest would be astounding. It’s the reason some children leave home and wander off, while others stay close to the place they were born.

Here’s an astounding concept; each of us are born to produce, not just in the natural, but especially in our spirits. What is produced by our spirits, is born of the Love that is in us. Faith that the Spirit of God, which was planted in our hearts when we first believed, is able to develop that love into fruit that will be seen and felt by those around us. Each moment we live in that fertile soil, allowing the seed to break down and yield, to struggle toward the surface until it breaks through into the Light, all green and tender.

Ahhh–the endless potential of that plant. Whether it produces fruit or shade, it’s purpose is to reproduce. It will draw from the earth the things it needs to survive, forming an alliance with it, rooting itself deeply into it so that when storms come, drought or famine, it will find enough nourishment to continue to flourish.

That’s what I see in this verse; It would be impossible to know God without faith, faith that He is who He says He is and that He is leading and guiding us into all truth. Faith in the seed He’s planted in us and that He rewards the faith of those who passionately pursue Him.

Stop struggling to remain in soil you weren’t meant to be planted in, it’s stunting your growth. You’ll never grow into what God created you to be if you stay surrounded by green beans when you were made to be an oak tree. Focus your attention on the Master Gardner and trust Him to either pull up the plants that are choking you out, or transplant you into a soil that’s conducive to what you are meant to produce.

The more you seek Him, the more you will find Him. He’s in you, all you have to do is find Him. He’s not hiding! He wants you to find Him. But you’ll only appreciate the treasure you find yourself.

Ever Producing,

Sandy G

Gods Measure

Vision; the act or power of sensing with the eyes; sight, the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be: prophetic vision; the vision of an entrepreneur.

One of my favorite verses is found in Habakkuk 2:2-3 AMP goes like this, “And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.”

This shows how important it is to meditate on the words God has given to us. I believe that without vision, something inside of us dies and we never see the promises of God become a reality. Look at the Israelites, those with no vision never reached the promised land.

I have had God show me things to come that have not yet happened, but I believe they will. I’ve heard Him speak things in my spirit which were difficult to believe but remembered His word, “All things are possible to him who believes.”

I don’t ever want to be the one who doesn’t receive just because it looks too big or sounds too crazy. I just scream out, “Lord I believe, help my unbelief!” I fight off the doubts with my words. I just get more radical because I believe you must have radical, ridiculous faith to obtain and see the manifestation of the promises of God.

You say, seeing is believing. I say believing is seeing. Don’t ever measure someone by what you see on the outside. They may look insignificant, plain and simple to you, but the inner person measures mighty in faith to God. You say, how’s that possible? Listen to what they say, that is the measure of a man.

Father, may I measure up to Your expectations of me. Not by what I do, but by what Christ did for me. Your grace is sufficient because it’s perfected in my weakness. Oh to rely on You to complete the work You started in me. It’s in Jesus’ name and for Your glory, Amen.

Do You Know Your Benefits?

As I lay in bed attempting to grab a little more sleep, I clearly heard the Lord say to me, “Don’t forget your benefits.” Now I know God doesn’t just speak for no reason. Unlike some of us who talk just to hear ourselves, God actually has intention for the words He speaks. So I opened my bible app and found these verses.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:1-5

  1. He forgives ALL your sin.

Not just a part of your sin or most of your sin, but ALL of your sin. He forgave your past, present and future sins. There’s nothing you have ever done or could ever do that would separate Him from you. Satan always reminds you of what you did, but Jesus reminds you of what His blood did.

  1. He heals ALL your diseases

Just as He completely annihilated sins grip on you, He healed all your diseases. Everything! No, that too! There’s no new sickness or disease that’s not included in His benefit package. I think this seems to be the one we forget the most. We simply don’t believe that this part is for us. We let the enemy talk us out of what is rightfully ours, but it’s very clear that this is a benefit.

That’s just two of the benefits listed above. There are so many who just don’t know these are benefits. They just take what comes their way without ‘fighting the good fight of faith’ instructed by Paul in Ephesians 6:10-18.

I close with these verses from Isaiah 43:25-26; And yet, I am the God who forgives your sins, and I do this because of who I am. I will not hold your sins against you. “Let us go to court; bring your accusation! Present your case to prove you are in the right!”

Father, I present my case before You today. The doctors have had their say, but Your Word has final say. People have accused me of being delusional, but I take Your Word at face value. It’s what You said, and I believe it. Your Word benefits me. I will not forget Your benefits! If it’s in the package, I take it ALL. It’s in Jesus Name I claim my rights. Amen

Until Tomorrow,

Sandy G

The Clinking Of The Keys

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19 Amplified

When you purchase a home, you’re given a key to that house. How silly would it be for you to tell everyone you own the house but pitch a tent in the yard and never open the door and move in? What good is a home if you don’t live there?

Jesus gave us the keys to the Kingdom but we don’t use the keys to unlock the gate and live Kingdom lives. We talk about it, but we live outside the gate, pointing our fingers, ‘This is my eternal home. This is where I’m gonna live someday!’

It’s time to begin reading the Word and believing what we read. Lets bind up sickness and disease and loose healing. Lets bind up poverty and loose increase. Lets not pray it once and say it just doesn’t work for me! Use the power given and contend for what is rightfully ours. Lets bind the strong man everyday. Lets worship and give thanks for the Kingdom that’s within us!

I Will Dwell In His House Forever,

Sandy G

Ready Or Not Here I Come!

I’ve always been fascinated with the story of the wise and foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), especially after the dream I had at age 18 when I lived in Haiti with my mom and dad.

In the dream, I was sitting on a tall stool outside. It was night time with no city lights, the stars were bright in the sky and as I sat observing the stars, my hands were raised in worship.

Suddenly a tall woman with dark hair appeared, grabbed my arm and said these words, “I want what you have!” to which I responded, “You’d better get it soon, cause Jesus is coming!”

Suddenly I began to rise off the stool into the heavens until my hands pierced through a separation of sorts and the Spirit of God was so strong upon me that my gooseflesh had gooseflesh.

When I awoke, I was sitting up in bed with my hands raised and I was covered in goosebumps from the top of my head to my feet. My mom had just come in the room to wake us for a trip to Port-au-Prince and sensed the powerful presence of God when she entered.

It took me awhile to form words to tell her what I saw and to be honest, I didn’t really understand it all then, but today, well…..Let me put it this way; it seems to be more and more often I hear the words from my dream, “I want what you have!” Which simply reminds me that Jesus is coming very, very soon.

What do I have that others so desperately want? A lamp filled with oil. The kind of oil that only comes from seeking God with your whole heart, mind and strength.

It’s in the seeking that you’re filled. You don’t even realize how full your lamp is, it just keeps spilling out to make room for more. I’m not looking for a place to minister. I minister to the Lord. I’m not trying to be something special, I’m special to God. I’m not interested in what you think about me, I’m only interested in what God thinks about me.

My goal is to be ready! I may get tired and nap with the rest of them, but when I hear the call of my Father to “Come on up, the table is ready! I’m waiting for you,” You can bet your sweet bippy I’m out a here!

Hope to see you there,

Sandy G

Answer The Call

Jesus said, “Don’t be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back. Then I will take you with me, so that you can be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:1-4

Have you ever felt that uncomfortable pressure you feel when it’s time to leave a place and move on? It could be a sensitivity that you no longer feel you belong. Like when you left home to get married and you go back for a visit. It’s good to be there, but you no longer have the sense of ‘belonging’ anymore. They’ve re-purposed your old room, moved on with their lifestyle, no longer do they live their lives revolved around you.

I felt that when the Lord called us to move to Florida. I loved our home, our church and friends. Our family was there, our girls and grandkids. I wanted to go but I wanted to stay. Everything was good. I knew it was a choice, that God would never force us to do what we were unwilling to do. So many people advised us not to leave, that it was a mistake and that God didn’t work that way. It came down to a simple decision–follow God or follow man.

Abram had it good in his fathers land. His life was most comfortable right where he was. But God spoke to him, “Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”(Genesis 12:1-3 NASB) And he picked up, packed up and left.

I’m sure he met with opposition from every side. Family and friends probably tried to convince him to stay, that it was irresponsible to leave the protection of your tribe to go out into the unknown. But when God becomes your choice, He also becomes your everything and pursuing Him and His plans are the only thing that matters. You choose to place your hand in His and follow wherever He leads.

It would serve us all to remember that this world is not our home, we’re simply here on assignment. We must consider the assignment a very temporary one. Some of us may be coming to the end of our assignment, while others are just getting their instructions. We can still enjoy the visit, forge relationships, share meals, even marry and have children, but our final destination is a house Jesus is preparing for us. There will always be a room there that is our own that will never be re-purposed.

Today as you go about your Fathers business, keep your eyes and ears open for your next assignment, but don’t allow the things of this world to be what keeps you here. We are not of this world. Let’s do life for God so that when it’s time, we’ll be welcomed back where our real home is and enjoy the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Waiting,

Sandy G

We Serve a Strong God

Photo by GEORGE DESIPRIS on Pexels.com

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9a

Don’t think that God misses anything. When we stand in faith, unwavering and disagreeing with our natural knowledge to agree with His Word, He notices. There comes a time, a moment, when SUDDENLY you see the thing you’ve waited for take place. God rewards that kind of unwavering faith.

People may disagree with you. They may argue with you and make you think it’s your fault that it hasn’t happened. Just like the voice of satan, the accuser, they guilt you and beat you with their word. They minimize the Word, make it of no affect, make you think it’s something you did or said. PAY NO ATTENTION to them.

Just like lightening falls from the sky, so the Word will connect with you, my friend. He is not a man that he should lie to you! It is not for nothing! Don’t ever stop believing and holding fast to the promises of God. May his Word always speak louder to you than any other word. If it doesn’t line up with Gods written Word, it isn’t something you should pay attention to.

He is faithful. Always. He has not called us to a life of feelings but a life of faith. Feelings change. His Word NEVER changes.

I declare today, My God You are a strong tower, I can run to You and find safety. I declare that I am healed and saved by grace, not works. It won’t be anything I do, but what Jesus did that manifests it in my body. I declare that You bring peace and safety to all who are oppressed, that no harm will come near my home. You have already given Your angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways.

I don’t care what the report of the doctor is, Your report is more powerful than any of those and it’s Your report that I believe. I will be loyal to You, to Your Word and to Your name. Regardless if it happens or doesn’t happen, I choose to believe Your Word and stand on it until I see with my eyes what I say with my mouth. It’s in Jesus’ name and for Your glory, Amen.

Strength to You,

Sandy G

Surrendering

Then the Lord will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hands, Deuteronomy 30:9a.

My mind goes back to the day I read this and the Holy Spirit highlighted the word ‘your’ in that verse. You see, if you were raised anything like I was, you may have been taught in Sunday School that if you did everything right, if you kept every command God spoke, then and only then would the Lord prosper you. But that’s not what this verse says, is it? No, it clearly says that He will bless all the work of your hands.

In other words–no work, no prosper. Which takes me to the verse in James 2 where he talks about faith without works is feeble. It’s in your obedience to the voice of God that causes you to partake of the blessings of God. Abraham obeyed without hesitation when God asked him to sacrifice his son Isaac. His willingness to obey forged an unbreakable friendship and bond with God and he walked in great favor and blessing all the days of his life.

When you hold tight to things and are unwilling to let them go when He asks you to, you’re only saying, “I don’t really trust you God.” Just because you can’t see the outcome, you choose to wait and see. Abraham never saw God give His only son. He didn’t understand the prophetic significance to his act, but He trusted the covenant God had made with him and that was enough.

Don’t ever get possessive with what you have here on earth. The earth belongs to God, we’re only caretakers. This isn’t our home, we’re only sojourners, ambassadors of the Kingdom we represent, in the earth to show off His glory to all we encounter.

I wonder what the world would look like if the Remnant Believers would take their place in the plan of God? To submit and surrender, let go of things we trust will bring us happiness and find our security in Him? To know Him in all of His fullness enough to trust that His plans are bigger and better than we could ever imagine.

So you see, it just doesn’t matter what things look like. It doesn’t even matter how you feel today. God’s a promise keeper and His promises are enough.

Surrendering,

Sandy G
