“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” John 14:27 TPT

What’s the difference between the gift of peace from Jesus and fragile peace given by the world? Well, for those who’ve experienced Gods peace, there is no comparison. It’s extremely deep  and undisturbable. No matter what happens around you, what you carry inside of you keeps you.

The peace of this world easily shatters at the smallest storm. Someone threatens your security and poof, it’s gone like the wind.

Isaiah 26:3 TPT is one of my favorite verses because it shows how to hold on to that steadfast and stable peace: Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with You; they confidently trust in You.

So today, be consumed with thoughts of your wonderful Father. Let your imagination grow wild in how many ways you trust Him. Allow His peace to eat up your worries and cares, simply by casting them on Him. He’s better equipped to handle them anyway.
