“Listen, you heavens, and I will speak; And let the earth hear the words of my mouth! May my teaching drip as the rain, my speech trickle as the dew, as droplets on the fresh grass, and as the showers on the vegetation. For I proclaim the name of the Lord; Ascribe greatness to our God! The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and just is He.” Deuteronomy 32:1-4 NASB2020
How amazing that God provides a place for us to come out of the rain of life and find refuge in His great arms of mercy and grace. We need to be there every day. It is to our spirit as food and clothing are to our bodies.
The necessity of spending time in His presence brings us strength to face another day. Regardless of what that means for you, be assured that He even uses the rain to make our emptiness look like gardens.
I must worship at His feet. I must shout my joy. I must touch Him so that I may come away, ready to be Him to others every day.
