
Another story. “God’s kingdom is like an acorn that a farmer plants. It is quite small as seeds go, but in the course of years it grows into a huge oak tree, and eagles build nests in it.” Matthew 13:31-32 MSG
It’s hard to imagine that such a small thing as an acorn can become so big that eagles can nest there. Holding something so small and thinking of its potential takes quite the imagination. Yet every seed we sow contains promise.
The smallest word of praise can cause a child to strive towards greater accomplishments. If we truly realized their value, we would be freer in giving them.
Perhaps we should be asking Father how we can better serve Him with our words. The tongue is a creative force. No one knows that better than Him.
I hear the Lord say, “You see what’s on the outside of a seed, but only I know what a seed holds.”
Our problem is we judge a book by its cover when what’s truly valuable lies within. Sandy G
